The November tea ceremony workshop will focus on the “ro” or winter hearth. November marks the beginning of the winter season and is celebrated as the “New Year of tea.” A lecture-style presentation will be followed by hands-on practice and partaking of tea and sweets in the tea room.
The workshop will be conducted in English and will be broken down into lecture, demonstration, and hands-on participation components.
No prior knowledge of tea ceremony or Japanese language is required.
